A Lifetime of Guiding People Through Important Moments

Courtney Fontenot, Founder & Travel Advisor

When I look back on my career, one thing becomes clear.

I've spent my life helping people navigate important moments.

Long before I became a travel advisor, I worked in mental health counseling and crisis management, supporting individuals and families through some of life's most challenging chapters. My work required compassion, problem-solving, careful listening, and the ability to remain calm when situations felt uncertain.

At the same time, I built a successful wedding coordination business, helping couples celebrate one of life's most joyful milestones. While the setting was very different, the heart of the work was very similar, guiding people through meaningful experiences while making sure every detail came together seamlessly.

Looking back, those careers may seem unrelated to travel.

But they all had one thing in common.

Helping people feel supported, prepared, and cared for during moments that matter.

Today, I bring that same approach to travel planning.

Because the trips my clients take are rarely just vacations.

They're milestone birthdays, retirement celebrations, anniversaries, reunions, family adventures, bucket-list dreams, and promises finally being kept to themselves.

These experiences become part of a person's life story.

And it's a privilege to help create them.

Why Travel?

Like many of my clients, I spent years balancing career responsibilities, family commitments, and everyday life while dreaming about the places I wanted to see.

Travel was always important to me, but time often felt limited.

When I entered this chapter of my life, I made a decision to stop waiting for "someday" and start embracing the experiences that had been calling me for years.

That decision changed everything.

Travel has given me the opportunity to connect with different cultures, meet incredible people, gain new perspectives, and create memories that continue to shape who I am.

It has also reinforced something I truly believe:

There is no perfect time to start living the experiences you've been dreaming about.

Sometimes the best chapter is the one you're living right now.

What It's Like to Work With Me

I understand that planning travel can feel exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes even intimidating, especially when you're investing in a meaningful experience.

That's why my approach goes beyond simply booking a trip.

I take the time to understand your travel style, priorities, comfort level, and goals. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and guide you through the planning process with personalized recommendations and expert support.

Whether you're planning a premium cruise, an international adventure, a special celebration, or your very first trip abroad, my goal is simple:

To help you travel with confidence.

I want you to feel supported before you leave, cared for while you're away, and excited about every step of the journey.

Because when the details are thoughtfully handled, you're free to focus on what matters most, experiencing the world and creating lasting memories.

A Few Things About Me

  • After several years in Houston, I happily returned home to New Orleans, where Mardi Gras season continues to have a special place in my heart.
  • My favorite way to travel is by ocean and river cruise.
  • I believe some of life's best conversations happen while exploring a new destination.
  • You'll often find me near the water, whether it's the Mississippi River, a cruise ship balcony, or a quiet waterfront somewhere in the world.
  • I believe meaningful travel has the power to inspire, connect, and transform us at any stage of life.

After a lifetime of helping people navigate important moments, travel just happens to be the chapter I'm helping them with now.
