Hi, I’m Courtney Fontenot, founder of Breezy Travel & Destinations, travel whisperer for midlife adventurers, and your go-to guide for stress-free, unforgettable escapes.
Before launching Breezy, I spent years working full-time as a crisis manager for a law enforcement agency, where I led the department’s victim services unit. It was all about helping people through tough moments and it taught me how to stay calm in chaos, solve problems on the fly, and show up with empathy no matter what’s unfolding.
At the same time, I was also running a successful wedding and events business, planning everything from elegant celebrations to milestone gatherings. Juggling both roles taught me how to manage logistics like a pro, stay detail-focused without losing the big picture, and create experiences that feel both seamless and meaningful.
Now, I bring all of that to the world of travel, helping midlife travelers trade stress for sunsets, and to-do lists for bucket-list bliss.
Whether it’s a luxe cruise through the Mediterranean, a culture-rich river journey, or a perfectly paced island-hopping adventure, I specialize in crafting elevated experiences for those of us who’ve earned a little (okay, a lot of) comfort with our adventure.

As a national member, Courtney upholds ASTA’s shared code of ethics and commitment to service excellence. She also serves as a board member for the ASTA Greater New Orleans Chapter in the role of Events Coordinator, actively supporting and uplifting fellow travel advisors across Louisiana.
Her involvement ensures she remains connected to the latest industry trends, legislative updates, and best practices so her clients always benefit from expert, ethical, and well-informed travel planning guidance.
In 2023, Courtney earned her Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) certification through CLIA—Cruise Lines International Association—the premier global authority in the cruise industry. This professional milestone reflects her dedication to continued learning, hands-on cruise planning experience, and staying ahead of industry trends, ship innovations, and destination updates.
